Buildings of Old

What an awesome site this was. I just moved to Toronto from Mississauga in 1995 and I get to go to this school. Western Tech-Comm School? I came from Meadowvale Secondary School, which was a very modern looking school that had very basic classes to choose from. Now I get to go to this place for two years? Cool. The architecture was, and still is, a sight to see. Big arches in the hallways and entrances. The school was built in 1927 and had an addition added in 1978, but I still enjoyed every minute of going there, I wish that I was more into photography when I was a student there. Can you imagine the pictures that I could come up with.
Another wonderful building in the city of Toronto that stands out is Old City Hall. Now they put a heck of a lot of work into the stone and brick work in this place. Look at the picture and you can see all the details, no one does this anymore. I'm so glad the city decided to keep this building standing, as they do like to tear down buildings to build an newer, bigger, more modern building in its place (ie, Dundas Square).
University of Toronto, that is all I have to say. There is mostly older building that make up one great University, I wish I could go there. This above photograph is a walkway from one building to the next, also used in such movies as The Hulk. I want to spend a day going from one building to the next and going picture crazy. I did that years ago, but there still is so much more that can be found on campus.
This hallway is amazing because of the shadowing from the sunlight peaking in from the sides. I can imagine students using this space for studying or meditation from a long day of classes.
