Those mornings where you are standing out in the cold waiting for the bus. Yeah I'm sure we all do that from time to time, or everyday for that matter. I see this image every morning, but this particular time I liked how this person was standing. The morning magic hour upon us. This building is right on my corner, near where I live, it used to be a bank back in the day. Now they do interior design. I love how we still have all these beautiful little and big structures in the city, they are like little gems when you come across them. I get to look at this one all the time.
St. Micheal's Hospital. I never noticed this design in front of the building before, as I have passed this building many times to visit one of my favourite stores, Henry's. Camera store for the camera geek. Anyway, I looked up one day and there it was, at this angle, the perfect shot. Even the sun was with me that day, the shadowing was perfect. Now every time I pass the hospital I look up at it, I'll never forget it.
St. George Station, my life revolves around this station. Going to and coming home from, work. This little gem happened by accident, I was fooling around with friends and shooting things here and there. Anything I could take a photo of, as we were on our way to Nuit Blanche one year. Upon shooting my camera this happened. One of my first freeze motion subway shots. I still need to perfect this one, and I will. For a first go, I think it turned out not too bad. So for any newbie or first time photographer out there, just shoot your camera at everything you can find, and keep shooting. You will find something of interest in there.
