Oh the sky is so beautiful, especially in this black and white version. It almost gives it a modern but old look. I took this one on the weekend and edited it today while I was at work. The original shot was taken on Dundas Street west, while I was travelling on the streetcar. I looked up and there it was, the sky was the perfect blue and the clouds were the perfect shade of white, calming. Of course I had to add my twist to it, very Darklight I must say. The day was beautiful to begin with and walking around all day in the sunlight made everything feel ok in my day. I could take pictures of clouds all day, as you can see so many shapes and sizes, or animals in the clouds ha ha.
Another day looking at the sky, I was on my way home with my Mom and we both seen the shot, in fact we both took the picture. Standing outside of St. George station, I always liked this view of the CN Tower in the distance. Sunset was right around the corner when the shot was taken, however I seen it as an overcast day, as I was probably really tired that day. It doesn't mean I will miss the perfect opportunity to grab the perfect photograph. So there it is.
More sky porn, he he he! I actually grabbed this shot back in the summer of 2014, when we went to Niagara Falls. I was venturing around an abandoned hydro factory, not inside as I couldn't climb over the concrete blocks they had covering the doors, I turned the other way and seen this nice picture of the sunset through the power lines. So many power lines, well hydro factory you know. I did notice that there was some railway tracks behind the fence, but since I have a fear of the tracks I didn't go there. That would have made a great shot too. Then later my Grandpa told me that the tracks were not functioning anymore, damn I could have got the photo if I had known that. Then I wouldn't have been scared. When I was a kid my Dad decided to drive over the railway tracks heading out one day. He stopped in the middle when a train was coming in our direction, then spun the wheels and bolted forward, he was playing around. Well that scared the crap out of my for the rest of my life. You won't see me playing around trains, no way. Yet they fascinate me, anything that scares me excites me to some end. Like abandoned buildings, they scare me, so therefore I want to find them and take photographs of them.
